Synopsis by Mark Deming
Rozz Williams, founder and leader of the pioneering goth-punk band Christian Death, co-directed and starred in this short experimental film which blurs the lines between pain and pleasure, good and evil, dreams and reality. A young man wandering in the desert (James Hollan) is kidnapped by a mysterious sadist in a pig mask (Rozz Williams), and as the masked stranger tortures the young man within an inch of his life, the victim finds himself slipping into a fantasy world where no one is certain what is imagined and what has truly happened. Produced on a shoestring budget in collaboration with Dutch filmmaker Nico B., Pig proved to be one of Rozz Williams' final creative projects; he committed suicide later the same year this was shot.
