Synopsis by Jonathan Crow
Wong Jing produces this wacky romantic comedy about driven businesswomen Lok Ka-kay (Carol Cheng Yu-ling), who runs the family toy business. The film opens with her making a wager with her surly underling Peter Lai (George Lam Chi-cheung): If he can come up with a better toy design than she can, Peter will get a promotion. If he can't, he resigns. Meanwhile, Ka-kay's conniving lothario of a sibling Ka-sing (Andy Lau Tak-wah) is dying for his sister to get married so that he can take over the family business. While seducing Peter's comely girlfriend Salina (Ellen Chan Ar-lun), Ka-sing convinces Ka-kay that Peter is really in love with her. Eventually, of course, Peter and Ka-kay actually do fall in love. That is until Peter's ex-wife and sundry jealous employees get wind of their romance.
