Patricia Routledge, best known for her role as the social-climbing Hyacinth Bucket on the popular British sitcom Keeping Up Appearances, shows off her dramatic range in this trilogy of one-woman performance pieces written by the celebrated English playwright Alan Bennett. Routledge plays a middle-aged spinster discussing a life devoted to work in A Woman of No Importance; she portrays a busybody who has taken it upon herself to protect the well-being of her community in A Lady of Letters; and she performs as a woman whose horizons are unexpectedly broadened when she is forced to care for her ailing brother in Miss Fozzard Finds Her Feet.
