Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Harry Benham stars as a big-city businessman who swears off women when he sees his fiancee smooching with another man. With his married sister and her child in tow, Benham heads to the forest, hoping that the fresh air will help him recover his will to live. Here he meets a hoydenish "girl of the woods," played by Violet Mersereau. The girl's unkempt unworldliness proves quite appealing to the disillusioned Benham, and before long she and he have fallen in love. The director of Path of Happiness worked overtime to make certain that leading lady Mersereau would be seen in the briefest of costumes as often as possible.
