Synopsis by Jonathan Crow
Clarence Fok Yiu-leung of Naked Killer fame spins this unlikely action-comedy-musical about the intertwining lives of a group of layabouts. Tina (Christy Chung Lai-tai) is a drugged-out teenaged punk who enjoys the budget oblivion that cough syrup provides; Tina's beau Lung (Wong Hei) is a shifty drug pusher who smuggles smack inside Ultraman dolls; Ba (Ben Ng Ngai-cheung) is Lung's abusive homosexual partner; wild-eyed American Dick (Simon Yam Tat-wah) scours the streets of Hong Kong for an ex-girlfriend; Gucci is a prostitute suffering from existential pangs of ennui; her mother Sally is crazy, walking the streets looking for an old flame. In between acts of gangland violence and casual drug use, everyone bursts into song.
