This Korean thriller from director Ho Young-Kwon concerns a youthful judge named Suk Hyun with a perfectly controlled and ordered world, whose life turns into a nightmare when his wife gets brutally slain. The case carries personal ramifications for Suk, as the murderer is Su Young, a psychopath hell-bent on revenge against the judge for a prior conviction. Not long after Suk Hyun learns the killer's identity, a reporter contacts him with the terrifying news that his life seems to be mirroring that of another magistrate from 30 years prior; in that case, Su Young escaped from jail and massacred both the man and his daughter. Upon learning this, the frightened and shaken Suk Hyun teams up with a local prosecutor, Gang Sung, in an effort to avoid the same dire fate that befell his predecessor.
