Synopsis by Tana Hobart
Done in the documentary style so popular in the 90s, this is the story of Richard Osterweil, a painter/cab driver, whose real forte is party-crashing. He can boast having been to most of the major celebrity shindigs in New York and has become somewhat a celebrity on his own, much as George Plimpton's exploits eventually landed him in the sports arenas he had formerly been able to attain only by ruse. As his notoriety increases, his need for chutzpah has decreased.
