A little Mexican girl has run away from home and is now miraculously in Colombia (a very long run indeed) where she has encountered a truck driver (Carlos Benjumea) who becomes her less-than-enthusiastic father figure. Nevertheless, the bachelor cannot just turn his back on the girl, so he takes her in and soon the two develop a bond that surpasses the truck driver's preference for a solitary life on the road. Just as the two are working out their relationship, the little girl's parents arrive on the scene and the "accidental" father is faced with giving up something he thought he never wanted.
