Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Newspaper reporter Paddy O'Hara (William Desmond) is sent to cover a war between two Balkan nations, Ideria and Darbaya. He shows up at the Darbayan castle of Count Ivan (J.J. Dowling) and even though he is disguised in an Iderian uniform, he is able to convince the Count's niece, Lady Maryska (Mary McIvor), that he is on her side and wants to save her from the invasion. Paddy marries her, with the intention that they will get divorced once they have escaped to safety from the Iderians. But to reach safety, they pass through a number of adventures, during which Maryska learns to love Paddy. Although Paddy doesn't realize this, he nevertheless is incensed when the foreign embassy offers him a large sum of money to surrender his bride. He swears that he will never give up Maryska. She has been eavesdropping on this meeting, and as he exits the office, she comes out of her hiding place to tell him that she also wishes to stay married. As usual, Desmond overacts, but otherwise, this action adventure was a solid programmer.
