Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

When hunting in the woods it's always best to be on your best behavior, and now thanks to the Outdoor Adventures team, sportsmen of all ages can find out how to make every hunting trip a memorable one. In the first lesson, young Matt prepares to go on a turkey hunt with his father by enrolling in a hunter education course. When Matt's fascination with the ancient hunting techniques presented in his class transports him into the past, his friends Gabe and Gray Eagle mentor the novice hunter in the rules of the hunt, the importance of safety, and the importance of respecting the environment. In the next two tales, a novice bowhunter takes to the field with some experienced friends who are willing to teach him safety, selection and preparation of hunting equipment, and the best way to make the kill, and a young Native American boy learns to respect nature while carrying on the time-honored tradition of bowhunting within his culture.
