Synopsis by Rovi
The original ad copy for this ABC Afterschool Special describes its heroine as a "Footloose Flashdancer who might be headed for Fame" -- thereby setting something of a record for pithy references to other movies of the era. Lisa Williams (Teresa Donahoe) is a talented aspiring dancer with but one major shortcoming: a debilitating fear of failure. When she lands a job with a summer theater troupe, Lisa has the opportunity to become a star -- or possibly ruin her future with that "one false step."
