The Dirty Pair face their toughest assignment yet when they travel to the distant planet of Ookbarl in search of a missing girl in director Masaharu Okuwaki's action-packed sci-fi adventure anime. A young girl named Missinie has gone missing, and Kei and Yuri are determined to bring her back home safely. Their mission isn't going to be an easy one, though, and as they make their way through the treacherous forest of Nolandia, the by-the-books Chief of Security offers little in the way of help. The Dirty Pair are hardly ones to sit idly by as the authorities get tangled up in red tape, though, and as they stealthily navigate a treacherous landscape of fast-flying UFOs and dangerous killer robots, the pair soon begin to experience the sinking feeling that they have bitten off more than they can chew with their current case.
