A man who has come to the belated realization that he's been treating his girlfriend badly is suddenly racing against an unknown enemy to save her life in this unique thriller. Ken (Preston Conner) arrives home one evening to discover his girlfriend Jessica (Theresa Navarro) isn't there. As the evening wears on, he begins to wonder what's become of her, and starts thinking about his uncaring and callous behavior. Ken's thoughts are interrupted by a telephone call, and a strange voice urges him to meet at a certain place in town if he wants to see Jessica safe and sound. Ken follows the instructions, but when he arrives he's sent to another part of the city as he plays an increasingly complex game of cat and mouse with Jessica's captors. Option 3 was an official entry at the 2008 San Francisco Asian-American Film Festival.
