Lily feels like she is in high school all over again when she volunteers at the school carnival -- only to find herself working a booth with Rick's ex-wife Karen. The two hit it off -- unaware of their connection -- until the gossipy mothers spell out the situation to Karen -- creating an awkward and embarrassing situation for both. Grace is secretly starting to develop a crush on Eli, but is devastated when one of his friends tells her that Eli would never consider dating Grace because Eli thinks she is ugly.
