Grace becomes more friendly with Tiffany, Jake's young girlfriend. As Tiffany is helping Grace apply makeup in the bathroom, she lets it slip that she has been dating Grace's dad for a long time -- even during his marriage to Lily. Grace is completely disillusioned about her father and tells Lily that she will never respect him again. Lily unselfishly counsels her that Jake is still her father and still loves Grace and that she shouldn't confuse her marriage to Jake with his ability to be a good father.
