Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Tod Lending's documentary Omar & Pete follows the lives of the two title men, each getting out of prison as the film opens. The two have been friends for a very long time, and each is hoping to finally put his life on the right track after the most recent jail stint. Lending intercuts how one of the men gets a good job and settles into a respectable life as the other battles addiction and reverts back to his old lifestyle.
