Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A young man attempts to escape his troubled past by moving into a retirement community, but finds his plans for an early retirement foiled when he's forced back into the outside world to face his problems head on. In the wake of an incident that destroyed his family and divided his community, Stock Burton (Noah Reid) decided to get out of the rat race by moving into the Golden Seasons rest home with his newly-single grandfather Harold (Jack Daniel Wells). For the next two years Stock manages to remain comfortably in his geriatric bubble, enjoying all the amenities provided to the elderly residents. When Stock finds himself forced back into very world he once sought to escape, he isn't sure he'll be able to shoulder the weight of his past misdeeds. Meanwhile together with Patti (Melanie Leishman), the pretty young criminal performing community service at Golden Seasons, Stock strives to summon the courage he'll need to atone for his mistake, and seek the forgiveness Dahlia (Meghan Heffern), the girl whose was most affected by it.
