Synopsis by Robert Firsching

Nikkatsu's run of violent softcore pinku eiga rape films reached their apotheosis of both success and brutality in the films of Yasuhara Hasebe. This well-made tale of violence could be considered a dry run for the horrors of Hasebe's 1977 film Rape! 25-ji Bokan. Natsuko Yashiro (aka "Yuko Oribe") stars as a virginal librarian who is viciously raped in an elevator, and then becomes addicted to dangerous sex. In her quest for the ultimate pleasure, she tries to track down the man who started the whole thing, the elevator rapist (Keizo Kanie). Although the Japanese rape films are not hardcore, they also spawned a series of "rapist stars" in the 1970s like America's Jamie Gillis and Zebedy Colt. Kanie was one such performer, raping his way through dozens of films before amusingly making the switch to hero roles in films like Tenshi No Harawata: Akai Kyoshitsu. This film also stars Nikkatsu superstars Naomi Tani and Rei Okamoto, who both starred in the superior Ori No Naka No Yosei the following year.
