Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
In this racy coming-of-age comedy, two 17-year-old girls embark upon a quest to lose their virginity with bittersweet results. Both Christina and Athanasia are seniors in high school. Christina's wealthy father is urging her to marry Vangelis, the owner of a successful bar and the town slaughterhouse. Athanasia's mother thinks that the creepy Vangelis would be a better match for her daughter. The girl's father, a veterinarian, is more concerned with Athanasia's happiness than her social status. The girl herself is in love with an aspiring pianist who works in Vangelis' bar. After watching Athanasia's father inadvertently induce an orgasm in a cow he is artificially inseminating, the girls become interested in sex. Both decide that they want to experience similar pleasures, but they soon discover that the realities of lovemaking are not quite what they'd imagined.
