Jim (Matt Mulhern) is a young commercial television director from the United States who falls for the pretty Irish lass Maggie (Maeve Germaine) in this tepid romantic drama. Before Maggie returns to Ireland for her school exams, the two vow to marry someday. When she is initially reluctant to have sex with him, the cad finds comfort in the arms of an old flame. Oliver Maguire plays Maggie's disapproving father.
