synopsis
The events surrounding the military coup which toppled the leftist Chilean government of Salvador Allende are chronicled in this Soviet docudrama. This film doesn't go deeply into the names or motives of the hidden forces which might have sponsored the coup but confines its efforts to the main events themselves.
