The blue-blood lineage of a respected and wealthy family takes an unexpected -- an initially unwelcome -- wrong turn in this romantic comedy-drama from director D. Rajasekhar. As the head of his reputed clan, Raghavayya (Krishnam Raju) is horrified to learn that his daughter has fallen in love with the son of his devoted servant. When his daughter and her new love marry and move to London, they give birth to a young girl named Seethu (Shriya) as Raghavayya adopts an orphan named Anand (Uday Kiran). Seethu's mother dies and the young girl enrolls in a college near India, where she soon meets Anand, who is also pursuing his education at the university. They fall in love, Seethu moves in with Anand, and she soon meets Raghavayya. Though the embittered father initially rejects the charming Seethu, her grace and elegance soon find her gaining the respect of her unknowing grandfather.
