Synopsis by Ed Atkinson

This NFL Films production takes a look back at what many historians consider the best team to ever play professional football. The Vince Lombardi-coached Green Bay Packers of the mid-1960's won three straight championships in '65, '66 and'67, as well as the first two Super Bowls. This incredible string of championships is examined through archived game footage, interviews with key players like Bart Star and Jim Taylor, and several sports writers who worked the football beat. The production quality of this video is excellent and contains exclusive footage that only NFL Films holds the rights to. The history presented is accurate and fairly unbiased, portraying this legendary team and its championships from the perspective of the average football fan. Long time television news anchorman John Facenda narrates this video.
