Recorded on January 1, 2004, this concert film from Deutsche Grammophon features conductor Riccardo Muti leading the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The video companion to the album of the same name, New Year's Concert 2004 includes performances of waltzes by Johann Strauss as well as pieces by several of the legendary composer's descendants. This concert marks Muti's fourth consecutive New Year's performance with the Vienna Philharmonic.
