This OVA continues the story of the original Cutey Honey series, in which a girl with technologically enhanced powers uses her ability to assume any identity in order to fight crime. Picking up several years later, New Cutey Honey finds Honey unaged and with even greater powers. Honey has the same trademark irrepressible personality and wit, but is in some ways more slick and modernistic in this update.
