Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Violet Mersereau is the heroine in this rather strange drama. Dolores Winthrop (Mersereau) is the daughter of an American and a Spanish woman. Her mother died shortly after her birth and her grief-stricken father disappeared from the scene. Dolores is raised on a tropical island near the equator by her aunt Blanca, and until she reaches the age of 18, she never sees a white man. The first man she does see is Spence Crosby (Donald Stuart), a naturalist. Dolores' father located a diamond mine, and Don Pedro (Frank Wonderlee) becomes determined to find it. He travels to the island where Dolores is located and kills Blanca. But he hasn't figured on Crosby's presence so his attempts to abduct Dolores are unsuccessful. Don Pedro gets neither the mine nor the girl, and after Crosby's courageous protection of Dolores, it's only logical that she chooses him as her mate.
