This National Geographic special takes viewers to Australia to meet some of the improbable inhabitants of this weird and wacky place. Featured are such marvelous oddities of nature as the boxing kangaroo, the paddling platypus, the cassowary bird, the pygmy possum, the eucalyptus-eating koala bear, and the sweet and sugary glider. Also included are more familiar characters such as the menacing crocodile and the Gold Coast surfer dude.
