Synopsis by Janiss Garza
When this film was released, there was a story floating around the Famous Players studio that the director insisted on having his name taken off the credits because he had such a difficult time working with star Pauline Frederick and writer/co-star Willard Mack. Mack plays Constable Thomas O'Brien of the Mounties, who is tracking down murderer Baptiste Flammant (Macey Harlan) and trying to break a smuggling ring led by Joe Gautier (Charles Brant). Frederick is the bootlegger's daughter Nanette, who is taken with the Mountie. This was not a quality film for Frederick, and Mack's overwrought histrionics only make it worse.
