Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Returning to the San Cristobal ranch after his father's murder, a young cowboy finds the homestead in the hands of an unscrupulous gambler in this cheaply produced silent Western. Buddy Roosevelt starred as the returning son whose identity is questioned by the villain, with Tom Bay, Carol Lane, Jimmy Kane, Art Rowlands, and producer-director-writer J.P. McGowan in support. A former stunt-man for William S. Hart and Rudolph Valentino, Buddy Roosevelt (née Kenneth Sanderson) was elevated to stardom by poverty row producer Lester F. Scott, Jr. Never able to combat weak scripts and slipshod production methods, Roosevelt became a supporting actor and bit part player in the sound era, working steadily until his retirement in 1962.
