This documentary takes a look at the coastal desert region of Peru, where the ruins of a great civilization stand in silence. The once thriving cities and intricate canal systems have been unused for centuries. The film takes the viewer to search for answers to questions about the identity of the inhabitants of the ancient city of Chan Chan and the religious center of Pakatnamu. A flight over the region reveals mysterious lines in the shapes of animals, perhaps linking these people with the Nazca and their astronomical and religious practices.
