In this 2006 documentary, filmmaker Angeliki Giannakopoulos explores the impact of the second US war in Iraq on the mothers of soldiers serving. Featuring interviews with several military mothers, the film demonstrates the varying philosophies and coping strategies of the many American women with children fighting in Iraq. My Child: Mothers of War won the Director's Award at the 2006 Cinequest Film Festival in San Jose, California.
