Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
Happiness is tantalizingly out of reach for the girl who is kidnapped on the eve of her wedding at the behest of a rich boy from a neighboring village. Honor demands that she try to escape her captor, whom she has come to love, and escape she does, often, but never far. When he realizes his love for her, the kidnapper's honor too demands action. In his case, he returns the girl to her village (despite their mutual love) and he receives a crippling wound for his pains.
