The eight-volume Museum Without Walls series sweeps across 4,000 years and three continents to document mankind's greatest artistic and architectural achievements. The program Crete and Mycenae explores the archeological mysteries hidden within the small Island of Crete, located just south of Greece, and at Mycenae, located on a Greek peninsula. Here, the earliest European civilizations were born. This journey takes viewers to the beautiful ancient sites and probes the rich cultural history and connections between its peoples. Other programs in this series include Giotto and the Pre-Renaissance, Goya, Germany -Dada, Le Corbusier, Picasso: War, Peace, Love, The Greek Temple, and The Cubist Epoch.
