Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Sherlock Holmes meets CSI in this period mystery series about in innovative detective working in Victorian Toronto. Detective Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) may eschew traditional crime-solving tactics, but he always seems to get his man. Relying on such untried techniques as "finger marks" to identify criminals, Detective Murdoch, his protégé Constable George Crabtree (Jonny Harris), and pretty pathologist Dr. Julia Ogden (Hélène Joy) attempt to convince their skeptical boss Inspector Brackenreid (Thomas Craig) that there is value to their radical methods, even if they have yet to be been proven.
