Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Christopher Lee is the big-name attraction in Murder Story, but the film's actual leading character is played by Bruce Boa. A would-be mystery writer, Boa becomes involved in a genuine murder case. He inveigles his idol, prominent novelist Lee, to help solve the killing. No surprises here, but the rapport between the stars is appealing. Interestingly enough (at least we think so), Murder Story came out the same year that Christopher Lee played Sherlock Holmes in the made-for-television Mask for Murder.
