Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
Schoolteacher Teresa Abad's husband has been rendered liable to fits of insanity due to a brain injury. Bing is an unhappy young adolescent in Teresa's class, and his mother is having an affair. Teacher and student meet for the first time, and become lovers. But after Mrs. Abad's husband kills his mother-in-law during a fit, Teresa decides that her life is a mess and it's time to leave the country altogether.
