Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Discover the compelling story of 2 Detroit crime families who used their brains rather than their brawn to corner the market on the city's heroin trade in the early 1970s, and establish one of the most lucrative drug rings in the country. At the dawn of the '70s, Detroit was the murder capitol of the world. Heroin use was on the rise, and Eddie Jackson and Courtney Brown saw a unique opportunity to profit on the drug's growing popularity. When their two men pooled their resources to establish a sophisticated drug operation in which family was valued above all else, the money started rolling in. From the common addict on the street corner to the biggest names in show business, they served everybody. And for a short while, at least, it seemed as if nothing could stop them. But all good things must come to an end, and in 1975, their empire began to crumble.
