For many film fans, few composers can hold a candle to the diverse talents of incredibly prolific film scorer Ennio Morricone. An astonishingly eclectic and tireless songwriter whose 500-plus credits span four decades and feature work in ever genre, Morricone conducts the Chor des Bayerischen Rundfunks and Münchner Rundfunkorchester in performing songs from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Mission, Casualties of War, Once Upon a Time in the West, Cinema Paradiso, and number of other film classics in a landmark performance recorded live at the Philharmonie im Gasteig, Munich, on October 20, 2004.
