Synopsis by Alice Day

Two of the most acclaimed pianists in the jazz world appear in this film, as they perform at the Montreux Jazz Festival. Ray Bryant has worked with such greats as Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, and Jackie McLean. Tommy Flanagan has been called the best bebop pianist alive by his peers, working with some of the same musicians as Bryant, as well as John Coltrane and Charles Mingus. They perform some standards, including "Georgia on My Mind," "Take the 'A' Train," "Blue Bossa," "Heat Wave," and "St. Louis Blues."
