The Montreux Jazz Festival is one of the most prestigious gatherings of its kind, and is held each July in Switzerland. Many famous jazz musicians have performed there, and Montreux Jazz Festival, Vol. 1 offers a look into one of the highly celebrated groups, plus an appearance by Ella Fitzgerald.
