synopsis
An attempt was made in the early '70s to release hardcore pornography in mainstream movie houses. To that end, the prurient offerings had slightly more in the way of a plot-line, and considerably better cinematography than is usual for such material. Behind the Green Door is the best-known of these films. Mona is another. It concerns the exploits of a woman just prior to her wedding. She is a nymphomaniac with an oral fixation and is unconcerned with the gender of those she mouths. There are some slightly grotesque scenes as well, one of which involves a spider-like vibrator. There are a great many quite similar sexually explicit scenes in this film.
