This feature-film-length release is a compilation of episodes in the 08th MS Team OVA, re-edited and cut for length. It follows a single soldier named Shiro Amada, who is a lieutenant for the Earth Federation. After Shiro is transferred to duty on the planet's surface and placed in charge of a group of outcast soldiers, a disturbingly powerful weapon and a woman from his past both resurface in his life. The 08th MS Team is noted for focusing on an average man rather than the super-enhanced Newtypes.
