synopsis
Eventually retitled Mister V, this is the story of The Scarlet Pimpernel, brought up to date. The klutzy hero/superhero in this outing is an absent-minded archaeology professor who is in actuality an agent sent to rescue refugees from the Nazis in WWII France. Howard does the role justice, but the film has been made once too often and, in this case, too long.
