Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Originally released as part of the feature Fun and Fancy Free, Mickey and the Beanstalk is the story of "Jack and the Beanstalk," with the role of Jack split into three and played by Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. To save Happy Valley from extinction, our heroes must rescue the singing harp (voiced by Edgar Bergen's radio-show vocalist Anita Gordon) from a selfish giant (a hilarious voiceover portrayal by "sneeze expert" Billy Gilbert). This was the last cartoon in which Mickey Mouse was voiced by Walt Disney.
