Synopsis by Jack Rodgers
Marine corporal Megan Leavey (Kate Mara) bonds with a bomb-sniffing military dog named Rex as the pair work together detecting explosives in Iraq. When Leavey is badly injured in combat and forced to return home, she vows to cut through the military's red tape to adopt Rex. Based on a true story.
