Ikki and Metabee are being trained by Dr. Aki to become top-level, highly skilled fighters for Robattle. The doctor visits a friend of his, Kailey, the famous stunt pilot. Kailey and her Plane-Type Medabot Femjet are practicing their aerodynamic moves when Femjet is unable to pull out of a dive and crashes into the forest. Kailey explains that three months ago at the City Airshow, she made a mistake on her landing and Femjet crashed badly. Ever since that crash, Femjet has been afraid of flying.
