Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
Kremer (Guenther Stoll) is an actor who takes a much-needed vacation in Sicily. Frustrated over his television role as a heroic physician, he is fearful of being typecast and longs to return to legitimate theatrical pursuits such as Hamlet. He and a young German girl engage in an amorous affair on the island, and things begin to look better for Kremer until his ruthless agent hires private detectives to track him down. Between the tough-as-nails agent and the wealthy dowager who refuses to let him go, Kremer is cornered into accepting a contract extension for his acting services in the confining role he fears could ultimately ruin his career. Berlin nightclub owner Rolf Eden plays Kremer's agent, a man who drives a hard bargain.
