Synopsis
The talented tenor explores the life of legendary tango vocalist Carlos Gardel (1898-1935), whose music is revered in Argentina. Alvarez performs Gardel standards and visits Gardel's haunts in Buenos Aires. In 2000, Alvarez released a tribute album titled "Alvarez Sings Gardel."
