Synopsis by Hal Erickson

This lighthearted Famous Players five-reeler was tailor-made for the talents of young John Barrymore. The "Great Profile" plays an ambitious stockbroker who goes out on a toot during his wife's absence. His celebrating gets out of hand, earning him a 30-day jail sentence. Briefly released on his own recognizance, Barrymore tells his wife that he's been called away to Mexico on business and won't be back for a month. This little white lie snowballs into an exhausting variety of comic complications, resolved only when it is revealed that wifey has a little secret of her own. Many of John Barrymore's staunchest fans are of the opinion that he was never better than when he was starring in such inconsequential fluff as The Man From Mexico.
