Synopsis by Forrest Spencer

Born into a family of gospel and soul singers, Luther Vandross found himself immersed into the music scene early in life. He has performed at the infamous Harlem's Apollo Theatre, sung with performers and groups such as David Bowie, Chaka Khan, and Barbra Streisand and found his own niche in the R&B markets during the 1980s, earning top spots in the pop charts in 1989 with the song "Here and Now." This tape contains various videos of some of his classic songs, such as "Power of Love," "The Rush," the remake of "A House Is Not a Home," "Don't Want to Be a Fool," and "Here and Now." This tape displays the remarkable songs of a remarkable man.
